No Pressure
Well folks, it's been almost a year since I posted something, but I've been informed by my "agent" that it's time to get back to work. So with that being said I guess I'll start out with the biggest news of the summer which was "the decision". In a matter of minutes, Lebron James went from one of the most popular and loved sports figures in the world, to the most despised and hated on!! Since I like you am tired of talking about it here's my final take. The man made a good business, personal, and professional decision. He takes his "brand" to a bigger market, he has his best opportunity to win MULTIPLE championships, and he gets to play with his good friends in one of the best cities in the United States. Sounds to me like a win-win-win situation. His one failure would have to be his exit and the way that it was conducted. There's a way to be a professional and "King James" chose not to conduct himself in that manner. He disappointed a city and pissed off an owner just because he chose to announce his decision in front of the entire world without considering the outcome by at least talking to the guy that wrote the checks. Hey, maybe he just didn't care. Whatever the case may be I hope Mr.James gets what he wants, but at the end of the day you have to wonder how much did it cost him. If he wins, all will be forgotten, but if he doesn't, neither Wade nor Bosh will receive any of the blame but if the "king" fails to deliver a ring then he falls into the same class of players as Iverson and McGrady, monster numbers with nothing to show for it. Good luck kid.
